Navigating Family Dynamics at the End of Life

Caring for a dying parent is hard enough. Doing it inside a family that never worked is something else…

A 6-week live course for family caregivers and death workers. Six live classes, a community that gets it, and real tools for navigating the triangulation, the sibling conflicts, the rage, and the grief that is actually decades old.

Death, most of us can hold. What pulls us under is the family around it — the siblings arguing over care decisions, the parent who still hasn't made amends to anyone — and the overwhelm and frustration that come with all of it. Whether it's your own family or a family you've been hired to serve, the pattern is the same and so is the cost. This course is about staying sane inside the dysfunction — and about the deeper healing that becomes possible on the other side of it.

Dramatic Family Dynamics at the end of life is a tale as old as time...

What inspired this course and why you should join me!

Join Us This Winter

We begin Thursday, November 5th, the week after Día de los Muertos, and we meet every Thursday through the darkest weeks of the year. We close on Sunday, December 20th, the eve of the winter solstice, with the Remembrance Ceremony. Which is to say, this runs straight through Thanksgiving and the run-up to Christmas — the two occasions when families with a lot of dysfunction tend to perform their greatest hits. That is not an accident. If your parent is dying this winter, you are going to need somewhere to bring it every week. This is the somewhere.

(We skip the Thursday of Thanksgiving itself. The community thread stays open that week — bring what happened at the table.)

What you are signing up for:

Six live 90-minute classes on Zoom, Thursdays at 2pm EST / 11am PST. Real teaching, real conversation — you can ask about what happened in your family that week.

Recordings of every class, available for six months, if you can't make one live.
